Me and my girlfriend decided to go to chilangos today and we were not impressed at all. The server did not really know what she was doing and the food wasn’t all that great, the restaurant also smelt bad. Will not be heading to chilangos again
Mariachi and tacos. What a fun and friendly place. Brightly decorated. Friendly bi-lingual staff. Tables of families. A couple guys drinking beer at the bar. And a karaoke mariache performing. It was surreal but highly amusing.All of the food we ordered was tasty and authentic. 5 for $5 tacos were an overstuffed steal. I got the spicy shrimp and my friend got the bistec. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and both dishes came with huge platters black beans, rice, salad and 5 light corn tortillas…we had a full dinner’s worth of leftovers each. Can’t wait to go back to try the octopus in ink.
