Were the locals eat ….. My husband has been eating at this place since he was a little boy. We usually have the Meatball poboy, with delicious fresh made Onion rings,Fries are good too. esp. the sweet potato fries.. They make the best Muffulatta in the city. Don’t go it you are in a hurry, all food is made to order and can take up to 20-30 minutes to cook. Well worth the Wait !!!! One of the few lunch places that opens @ 1030 for an early lunch (1100 on Sunday) Walk in, place your order, get your ticket Number, and wail till number is called, carry food back to your table and ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY
Yummy, yum, yum. My father in law loves the fried catfish. I love the barbeque beef on french. It has a nice family friendly atmosphere…it is one of our favs.

Excellent Prices, Huge Quantities, Reasonable prices.. Great neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommend to families with kids. Whenever I go there I see lots of old folks, kids and JPSO deputies. Young girls at the cash registers are more interested in gossip and their cell phones than the customers but that’s okay. If they don’t lose your order you’ll be satisfied.
Went here about 9 months ago, and guess what??? never again ordered some kind of seafood pasta it was full of the smallest shrimp in the world and velveeta cheese SO GROSS
Pretty good for a neighborhood eatery.. I like this place for a really cheap eat that happens to be pretty solid at the same time. I love the onion rings and sauce from this place. The batter they use to fry is simply amazingly flavorful for a seafood batter. I hope to try some more of the menu as I continue to explore my local Metairie eateries.
