Excellent food and service. I consider myself critical of resteraunts and this place delivered in every area. I had a fillet, rare…it was cooked perfectly with a cool center. I will come back!
While I was by myself, i felt like I was being rushed to finish and leave. Wasn’t overtly told that, but got that feeling. Seafood was good, but expected more from it from being New Orleans. Felt like they were trying to have the New Orleans style food but toning the flavor down for the masses.
Gotta love a day trip to La. with Copeland’s being my reliable spot to eat. Since there isn’t one back home anymore, I will always try to stop here for a great meal and/or dessert when passing through the area. On this visit the BBQ shrimp with crawfish rice and the Cajun crawfish pasta arrived at my table and both looked delectable! My pasta dish was savory, spicy and fulfilling. So delicious I didn’t stop myself to leave room for dessert. Next time the white chocolate bread pudding is coming home with me!
