It was decent
Horrid food and worse service. We have tried this place two times and both times the food was just awful! The service was even worse. I have also NEVER been charged for TAP WATER until this place. They store the seafood in the same case as the cheesecake! Not to mention the place needs a thorough cleaning! Will never eat at Kenner Seafood again!
Good stuff. Crawfish were very spicy, which was good in my book. Server was very attentive and nice, would definitely recommend.

Must eat here. This is one of my favorite places to go, always great food and laughs, the waitstaff always make you feel like family, taste like home cooking! Bad Food and Racist. My kids and I went to eat here on 08/10/13. My kids are the ages of 10yr, 17yrs, and 2yrs old. My 10yr ordered the gumbo and I ordered the Catfish for myself and my 2yrs old. My oldest son ordered a Shrimp sandwich. My 10yr old said the gumbo tasted funny after eating a spoon of it. I asked the waitress could he change the gumbo for something different she took the gumbo to the back but never asked what would he like instead. My son who is very smart said mama she took the gumbo back but never asked me what else did I want. I than knew it was going to be a problem and I didnt understand why. The waitress came back with the gumbo and than stated we cant take this back I asked for the manager. A lady came out and said we are not taking this back everyone else is eating gumbo and they are not saying anything was wrong with it. I explained to her his taste buds are not like everyone elses and why was she making a big deal out of him returning the food and getting something else. This lady I was going back and forth with was the owner I feel she was a racist yes my family is african american. The couple at the table next to us return some food with out any problems they were caucasian. Anyways the owner Trudy said well you can order something else but Im not taking it off of your bill your going to pay for it. I told I asked for to go boxes and told my kids we were leaving and to put our food in the boxes while I go pay the bill. The owner Trudy she asked did I have dipping bowl which she already knew I didnt know because I walked off and told my kids to put our food up so she than told her waitress to call Kenner Police for us for no reason. Once I finished paying the cashier I called to my 10yr old and asked him did he take the bowl off of the table he said checked the bag I checked the bag and it was in there so I gave it to the owner who jerked it out my hand. I feel she is a racist because the caucasian couple changed there food with out any problems and I was not able to change my food. I have been to many restaurant and I have never went to a restaurant where you cannot exchange your food if you dont like the way it taste or it taste funny to you. The worst service I have every had than it came from the owner.
Good local place. This is a fun place to eat small bar but great service Amanda will hook you up. Some of the best Char-Oysters I have had in NOLA, crawfish were very good and the price cant be beat.I was lucky because on a Monday night there was no wait. If you want just a laid back local place this is it!!!
