Great Food, Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the food so much, there’s no doubt this is southern cooking at its best, I was in town for a week and this is by far the best soul food I have had. If you ever eat there you will know that love goes into every dish.

Love it!. I’m rather confused by the negative comments on this site. I’ve been a fan of LPK for over 6 years now. The staff has always been super nice and courteous. The food is always delicious!! Southern cooking at it’s finest, which can be spicy at times, but never too much! I’m not crazy about spicy food and it’s never been more than I can enjoy! We’ve never had to wait on any food. We travel from Houma-60 miles to enjoy their food! I recommend it to everyone! There are a lot of great choices. Something for everyone!! 🙂
To hot too handel. On July 27th my husband and I went to eat and most of the food was so hot that it was unedible. The chicken tasted like it was dunked in hot pepper. The only things that we’re not hotter then hot we’re the bread pudding, coconut cake n salad bar. In the past I looked forward to going out to eat at Louisiana purchase but I am sad to say we will not be going back,
