Great food and nice setting. I went here on a recommendation from a Hispanic friend of mine. I had the lechon asado with sweet plaintains and a fresh-made flour tortilla. The meal came on a bed of rice with a huge portion of cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, pico de gallo, and a small bowl of red beans. Everything was great. The red beans had a great flavor, but could have been cooked a little longer; they were a bit on the firm side. The service was great, and the establishment looked very clean. I couldn’t even eat half the meal, so I’ll spend the rest of the day eating left-overs. I will absolutely have to become a regular.

After reading a couple of the older reviews, I had put off trying this place for a few months….. :doh: My mistake.The powers that be, must have read and responded to online reviewsas this place had Excellent service, Very tasty dishes, (with nice presentation and eye appeal too) & Over flowing portionsInfact the pork plate I sampled (Lechon Asado) was so tasty and unique that I’ll do my best try to to copy that dish on the next family get together. If mine only turns out half as good, they will be impressed…

Cheat price,great food. We go there at least two times a week.,they have great food for a cheap price! i like the amount of food we get in very plate.they should open one in new orleans iam from there.but dont mind the drive!!love the fish and the carne asada.

Awesome. Best little secret in Kenner. So much food at an awesome price.
