Great unique food. Excellent food at very low prices. The service is a little slower than most places, but the food was well worth the extra few minutes of waiting. Many of the items on the menu are not found anywhere else around here.
Horrible! I can appreciate authentic but this is just bad. I ordered two tostadas one pollo tinga & carne asada. The chicken was ok at least it had a little flavor but the beef was tasteless and rubbery. I will not be back.
Unhappy!. We were not happy! The food- less then mediocre! On top of that, they would not honor our restaurant.com coupon which does not expire! And to make it better, claim to not speak enough English to explain why! No, not happy!
Great Mexican. Everyone gets involved in serving you and yes you feel at home. My waitress spoke little English, but menu is bi-lingual and I pointed to what I wanted. Tortilla lady is so sweet and everyone can watch her make the shells from a central area; way better than the old school aluminum wrapped tortillas. Prices are very reasonable, so I let the service inspires very nice tips. This little mall on Roosevelt is a great food destination.
The real deal. This place feels like joints I’ve been in while living in San Diego or in HoustonIf you like the real deal then you won’t be disappointed Fav… Caldo de ResI made the mistake once of giving some to the spouse…I never got it back, lolFeeling adventurous? Go on a Saturday night and join in on karaoke…..in Spanish 🙂
Good authentic Mexican plates at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the staff and the family feel. I had the Plato de Alambres; beef, pork, bacon, and grilled pineapple with cheese, tortillas and sides. It was a delicious change of pace for a carne asada lover.
