Loved It. This last time I was there on vacation in August, I ordered the pork roisserie as did 3 other in my party. I’m not really into grits but I love the way Zea’s puts the corn in the grits for extra texture and flavor. The green beans were flavorful and not overcooked with just the right crispness. It was a very enjoyable meal.
Greatness personified!!. This place was great! After my girlfriend got off of work we went there. It was my first time at the place. Our waiter Rachel. She made Zea’s a favorite of mine for the forseeable future. It was an hour before closing on a Sunday so there was no wait time for seating. We were charmed right away by our waiter. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer which came quickly. It was pretty good. Then Dominique ordered the bronzed Rainbow Trout with Thai snap beans and I ordered the Thai Ribbs with Thai snap beans. This was good eating and I’m not even a ribbs lover. This was a good inexpensive meal coupled with great service. Thats a win in my book!
Best by the Mall. We went to this Zea’s in Esplanade Mall with a large group of family. Our waiter was fantastic, thoroughly at ease with most of my female relations who were swooning at his brilliance and good looks. But I digress…the food. Zea’s cheese grits always finds a way to my plate – they are sublime! Tried the hummus appetizer my sister ordered, but guess I’m just not the hummus type. Never disappointed at Zea’s, no matter which location I’ve been to.
Out on the town. We went again last night and as usual the food did not disappoint. The grilled tuna salad it out of this world and our server although very talkative was excellent and very attentive.
Apologetic. Waited 40 minutes for a salad (YES ONE SALAD) for take out. Manager came out and ‘apologized’ with a $20 giftcard. She said salad was about to come out. Never did. I don’t care for a giftcard. I don’t care for a salad that was never ready. I care for MY WASTE OF TIME!!!!! Note to corporate: Curbside service sucks. Simply because staff forgets that an actual customer is outside waiting. If one is staring them down inside establishment–its hard to forget.
Great upscale dining. I am in high school and my friends and I eat here a lot. We go every year for our class dinner, and band luncheon and we go for dinner before homecoming and prom. The food is always great and we always have a fun time.
