This is one of Lafayette’s treasures! This Italian Resturant has wonderful entres and pizza’s. It a family Resturant that is warm and welcoming. Alesi’s is better than any Italian chain out there period.
Our family has eaten here for generations! It’s a place like no other. It’s a family run business that has always severed scrumptious food!
Update: our experience over the last 4-5 visits (always take-out) has been disappointing. My favorites – pizza & lasagna – have both been quite mediocre. I really like this pizza. In fact, my favorite pizza in Lafayette. The ground meat they use is especially good. Lasagna is good as well. The restaurant itself is old, dark, dated. I frankly prefer getting pizza to go.
This place makes us feel like family when we eat here. The foods pretty good too. I have never tried their pizza, being from the Northeast I’m a pizza snob. That being said, I like all the dinners I have eaten here over the years
Loaded baked potato delivered w/o sour cream and chives. The bacon used is the cheap microwaveable kind. Their chicken Parmesan sandwich was disgustingly dry and their pizza had almost no sauce! On the upside, my girlfriend said she enjoyed their lasagna. I was simply too angry to even try it, after sampling the dung I ordered, for a not so cheap price. Even if those incompetent fools that run that circus offered me 100 dollars in gift certificates, I could not even bring myself to pass them along. To consider this dump a good place to eat, you would have to have eaten fecal matter your entire life.I hope this place goes under and that the people in the kitchen learn how to cook.Worst money I have ever spent.
Best pizza I’ve ever had. Forget ordering anything else.
Sub par food The fried ra…. Sub par foodThe fried ravioli are frozen. The pizza is ok. Nothing special. The interior is old and out-dated. Smells like an old lady’s house, probably from the old carpet. Probably won’t be suggesting we return.
