High Prices and Not So Great Service!. Prices were ridiculously high, my son’s entree (Cajun Pasta) was literally all pasta with a smidgen of Andouille sausage, mushrooms and shrimp and it cost $17.50…..a little high for a bowl of overly sauced, bland pasta. Also, when we arrived, we were told that there was a 15 minute wait to be seated; we asked ourselves (while others in line left) why the wait being that there was literally only 10 people in the restaurant and they were already seated and had already been served. Waitress also told me that I should have made a reservation being that I had a Living Social voucher and that it stated such on the voucher. I beg to disagree, it stated no such thing and why should I make a reservation when there was practically nobody in the place! Once we were finally seated, we had to wait nearly a half an hour before we were served and the food was disappointing (bland and luke warm). For the life of me, I do not understand how previous patrons gave this place a desirable rating. Don’t waste your time nor money, because you will need plenty of both at this place, it’s definitely not worth it.
GOOD EATING/FRIENDLY SERVICE. I like going to the Bistro Du Cayenne for lunch. There is always something good to eat and the flavor is like home cooking. The service is always fast and friendly. I meet with friends there at least three times a week. Love the sweet & sour ribs or the fried chicken even the stuffed turkey breast. Next time your there and its your birthday let Ms Sylvia know, she made me feel SPECIAL.
