This restaurant offered food out of a food truck at times in New Iberia. The meats are great. The sides need to be improved on. They have limited hours and they need to get the kinks out since they opened.
It’s challenging finding good central-Texas style brisket in Louisiana, but Blanchard’s has it. Peppered bark, pink smoke ring, fork tender “moist” or “fatty” cuts are the real deal. Only eaten there once so far. I’ll be back!
This is my favorite place to get a bbq brisket sandwich when in Louisiana. The first bite into this juicy crisp bark will make you a customer. Everything Blanchard’s does is top notch including their fresh fried potatoes.
