We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress is super friendly. They bring you tasty garlic bread while you wait to order. Very popular place with the local vibe. Food is fantastic. Highly recommend.
This is quite literally one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The food looked like mush. The alcoholic beverages (all 3 that I tried…and returned) tasted like liquid sugar. Every waitress, bartender, hostess, manager, and guest I encountered stared at my boyfriend and I in the most peculiar way–maybe because he’s white and I’m not. I’m not sure how to even sum up this experience but I do know that I’d never, ever recommend it to anyone. Like I wouldn’t even tell my worst enemy about this place. Do yourself a favor and save your money.
Food was delicious and the service was prompt, professional and friendly. Very good atmosphere. Music playing just loud enough to enjoy without drowning our conversation. Lacey was especially helpful with suggestions and she was very attentive. Crab cake was the best we ever had. Will return and recommend to our friends.
Very good! Have eaten here many times. Always good. All of the dishes are good- swamp legs, shrimp, fish, etc. The meatloaf is one of the best!!
This place is one of the best Cajun restaurants in Lafayette. The food is not very expensive considering the fact that the size is excellent, and the dishes are well constructed, flavorful, well presented, and tasty. They offer craft beers and local beers on tap, and the waitstaff is quite good. An added bonus is that they actually are open on Sundays, and they keep hours that are late enough to accommodate people who would like to eat in the evening on a Sunday or Monday in Lafayette when the whole city is a ghost town except for crappy fast food!
I have dined here on several occasions so unsure why I never reviewed it before. The crunchy buttery garlic bread brought first is a slice of goodness. I had aVERY tasty lemon drop martini as well.We had the boudin and sausage board but gasp the sausage came out cold and undercooked so we had to send it back. The issue was fixed and there were apologies all around for the error. For the main dish we split the Crawfish Pie, which I had before and is awesome and the shrimp and Tasso pasta again a tasty choice. In spite of the app error we thought it was a great meal and will be back.
Different, interesting menu. Gets lots of positive reviews. But I’m not a big fan. The food sounds and looks a lot better than it tastes. The crawfish pie in particular is a disappointment. The grilled meatloaf, on the other hand, tastes better than expected. In my book, this restaurant is a bit of a disappointment.
