Omg!!!! The bread was sooooo delicious and just made the sandwich that much better!!! A15 on a scale of ten!!! I asked for fried mushrooms and pickles But they said no. I told them to add them !The sandwiches were Devine. Ham was so pink and delicious. The special had piled pork and ham! Both had coleslaw!!! Don’t ever eat McDonald’s or Burger King or sonic when you can have this supreme quality!

Wouldn’t mind the cost if the food was good but oyster poor boy was all batter, very bland i think it had some mayo and lettuce….tasteless. Cost was $1.70 per oyster (there were 5) $20.40 a dozen. I think i got robbed. Chris’s has been here a long time food used to be great but no longer. Will never go there again can no longer rely on there reputation. So disappointed.
I disagree with the 2 recent negative reviews. This is a good, solid PoBoy place. Chris’ has been in Lafayette forever. Nothing really fancy about the food. Just good, solid, standard selection of PoBoys. And I think they make a good chicken & sausage gumbo.
A complete waste of money. Not enough food for the price. Go here if you want to be extremely disappointed with your meal. I ordered a large seafood platter and it was the equivalent of a kids meal
Pathetic. If chris’ poboys were to win an award it would be for selling the smallest poboys in Louisiana. I paid 9.50 for a half a fried shrimp poboy. The bread was probably smaller than the size of your average hot dog bun with 7 or 8 very small shrimp. And I think mcdonalds has better lettucce than them. Very dissapointed. Never eating chris’ again. anyone want a good poboy in lafayette go to oldtime walkons dons seafood etc. If you want a poboy that reminds you of a fastfood resturant go to chris’s.
Disappointed. From out of town but travel to Lafayette about once a year. Decided to try Chris’ PoBoys hoping it was as good as Old Tyme Groc. I was highly disappointed. It tasted good but it is mostly bread and only a few shrimp. Way overpriced for what you get. Won’t visit again.
