Ok I don’t know what these people were eating, but I love this place! Growing up in the area we always had Dynasty when it was too late to cook. I have gotten shrimp lo mein since day one and nothing else compares! It is a long wait though so ALWAYS call in.
Love this place. What’s with all the bad reviews??! I love Dynasty, and my family members riends do as well. The food is very good for the price. Plus they’re open late, delivery is fast, and my orders are always correct.
Got the Beef&broccoli as well as the chicken lo mein. It was so sweet I fell into a diabetic coma.Seriously though, all off the food tasted like maple syrup. Probably had more sugar than a dozen glazed donuts from Meches
Cures the fried rice craving.. I quit eating at Dynasty a while back, but lately everything has been great. My favorite thing to get is the vegetable fried rice. It has fresh broccoli, baby corn and bamboo shoots. It’s always steaming hot and has that great seasoned wok flavor you want. And you can eat two meals with how much they give you. The fried shrimp appetizer is really good too. They’re corn meal battered and have always been good when I’ve gotten them. The egg rolls and cream cheese wontons aren’t bad either. My one complaint is that whenever I’ve gotten the cashew chicken there is never enough cashews and they aren’t very crunchy. I’m not really a fan of their brown sauce either. Definitely give the fried rice a try though.
I’ve been ordering from them for 12 years! They screwed up my order…over an hour and a half and still didn’t start cooking it and refused to even give a $5 discount! I will never order from them again!!! Amazing!!!
I LOVE dynasty and after seeing them voted number 2 out of 45 best carry out I decided to order again tonight and saw all these horrible reviews for them! Well as a Cajun food loving pregnant woman I can’t complain. The prices are great and the food is just delicious. They are fast friendly and it’s just so yummy!
Disgusting! Save Your Money!. I have taken-out from this place before and never was 100% satisfied but I thought I’d give it one more try and that was my last time EVER! The first tip-off that it was going to be a bad experience was the rude guy who answered the phone to take my order. Turns out he is the cook (and maybe the owner?) He had no customer service skills to speak of. I should have just hung up the phone and saved $20 but it was late and raining; I just wanted to eat supper. After 20 minutes I walked in to pick up my food. It was only supposed to take 15 minutes he said. I told the sweet lady at the counter my name and she said they were boxing up my order. She mentioned that only she and her husband were working that night and her husband had to stop cooking to answer phone calls. Why she volunteered this information I’m still not sure. She disappeared. 25 minutes later!! she reemerged from behind the wall. When she came out, the look on her face showed that she had completely forgotten about me and my order, or the fact that others were waiting in the lobby for their food. She went to the back and came out with my already cold order. I knew it was cold, but I had already paid for it and I just wanted to get home and eat after a 45 minutes wait. I could always warm it up, right? I got home and discovered dry chicken( Although I’ve never seen that cut of chicken when I buy chicken at the grocery store), soggy vegetables, fried rice that tasted like it was cooked in a dirty wok complete with a scorched flavor and black specs of charred food debris. It was inedible. p.s. My bag was stapled shut with my ticket and a PapaJohn’s door knob hanger advertisement with coupons. Why would Dynasty be promoting PapaJohn’s pizza? Is it because they know their food sucks? Please dont tell me the owner of Dynasty also owns a PapaJohn’s in Lafayette! Never again.
