Everything here has so much flavor! I always get a pork burrito and load it with all the goodies! Even the sauces are better than your average Mexican spot. Roll your own!
Good concept with poor execution. Bland flavors, poor quality ingredients make Izzo’s a place I will never visit again. Lafayette has so many great local places, this awful chain is not worth visiting.
Garbage, pure garbage
BURRITOS!!!!!!!. So first let me just say I love fast casual concepts. They are focused, affordable, let me refill my own drink, and are quick. This is by far my favorite burrito place. (over # chipotle, bullritos, taco bell, etc.)Winning Combos for me:Cayenne with pork with rice, no beans, corn, lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream, illegal sauce, cilantro ranch, japs, and queso.Cayenne with chicken with rice, black beans, lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream, black olives, Southwest Caesar and queso.
Good but expensive. The food is good but I find that this restaurant is way overpriced for anyone who is trying to watch their spending habits. There are plenty of other places in Lafayette that you can go to find a better meal for the same price or cheaper. But besides the cost, the only other downside is that if you put too many cold items on your entre, I find that your food is basically a cold to lukewarm temperature by the time you get the opportunity to sit down and eat it.
Izzo is one of our family’s all time favorites!! We love Mexican food and the fact that u can put whatever you want on your burrito, nachos or quesadilla seems to satisfy our family perfectly
It’s like subway, for Mexican…. Except the hot food never gets heated. If you like a cold burrito/taco/nacho, this is the place for you.It’s unfortunate. They have a great concept, but the food is cold. I heated my burrito for 45 sec in my microwave and it was great, but that should not be necessary. I can’t even imagine eating it at the place where that (heated food) is not an option. I liked the food (reheated), but I can’t see a reason to go back.
