This restaurant was extremely disappointing, to say the least. $21 dollars for a buffet is outrageous, especially based on the quality of the food. The fried seafood was greasy and overcooked. It also tasted as though old grease had been used in the fryers. The jambalaya was soupy and tasted only of tomato, as if no other ingredients were used. We ordered the crabmeat au gratin from the menu. It was made with American cheese (a cardinal sin in Louisiana) and contained only tiny trace amounts of crabmeat. The dish was definitely not worth over $18. After all this I can assuredly say that I will not be returning to Lagneaux’s in the future, and I will advise my friends to do the same.

Misses the mark….. So a friend suggested this spot. The buffet is $22.95 I didn’t even pay that much for a buffet in Las Vegas! So I opted to just order off the menu. My waitress was clueless and the food was beyond mediocre. I thought this was Cajun country? Anywho, I won’t be back.

The first time I ate here was 15-20 years ago. Just as good now as it was then. Yes, the buffet is kinda pricey but an excellent value for those that want to sample a little of everything. Selection is a great representation of local cuisine.

Good Cajun seafood buffet. Mostly shrimp items on the buffet but their shrimp fettucine, seafood gumbo, & catfish court bouillon are all great. Some talk about the price but during crawfish season thy have unlimited boiled crawfish as part of the buffet, just call ahead to verify.

A little pricey for a buffet but it has a good selection of items.

Lagneaux’s… AI-YEE!. Lunch Mon-Fri 11AM-1:30PM, Sun (Full Buffet) 11AM-2PM. Dinner Mon-Thu 5-9PM, Fri & Sat 5-10PM. Great, casual, family-dining, Cajun restaurant. Very popular buffet option. Our family favorites are the catfish plate, crawfish touffe, and soft shell crab po-boy. Our usual waitress, Betty, is exceptional, and we like to ask to be seated in the quieter, back dining room.

Good Friday Night Seafood Stop…. We have hit this place up several times since we have been back in town… They have a nice seafood buffet, all you can eat for $19 including whole crab and fried catfish and lots of other options including boiled crawfish when in season. While my wife loves the buffet, I feel that ordering off of the menu provides a better value if you don’t intend to partake of the whole crab, which is the most costly item on the buffet.Several times I have had the Fried Catfish Platter and Never have I managed to finish it… They Give you a ton fish and fries + some Jambalaya and a few hushpuppies all for $12 which is a great deal if you just want fish.If you do get the buffet, be sure to try the crab boulet its pretty good, and skip the fried shrimp they are small and tuff.See you guys out there :)-MG
