Went here today with a friend and ordered plate lunches. He ordered the liver and I ordered chicken fried steak. Service was fast. When we received the lunches it was obvious that there was NO pride taken in what The Lunch Box was cooking. Mashed potatoes were instant potato flakes. Gravy from a mix. Peas and peaches from a can. And a freezer roll on the side. Have a little self-respect in what you’re cooking. For Shame! The Lunch Box was appropriately named. The food I had in my Middle School cafeteria was about as good. This was probably the worst plate lunch I’ve had in the Lafayette area.

Also got a burger (uncooked)with bloody buns call to tell them the owner want me to come back but I live several miles away he want me to save the burger an bring it went I come back needless to say I will never be back !!!! Stop being so tight!!!
Delicious. We had a shrimp poboy and a catfish poboy. So good we went back and got one more catfish poboy.
Good. The sweet potato fries were yummy and i like their shrimp sandwiches.
