The only Indian restaurant gives good food at Lafayette. But my 1st visit was really worst as we waited for 45 min to taste the food. We ordered chicken tanduri and it was well done with all spices as Indian hot but too much blacked. The gravys are wonderful to eat with Indian bread. At last dont try the biriyani, it was not at all good here

Served in what looked like an oversized Bento box food was deliciousServer was highly knowledgeable of the menu items and of their ingredients. That knowledge helped my colleague avoid tomato based products due to allergies related to tomatoes. Decor was classical Indian motif without being pretentious and touristy. Owner was on the premises and friendly and attentive to his guests Good size dining room with full bar. Family friendly. Worth the visit. Take the plunge and enjoy the unique and exquisite taste of India. You will enjoy that difference
Masala is tremendous. A little expensive but it has always been worth it for me. I’ve tried Indian food in a number of spurt her states and none of the others come close. You might have to travel to India to find better.
Service is awesome, food is not, I got a nail piece in my food, just could not resist throwing up. Mistake do happen, but I expected them to be little more careful.

This is my favorite restaurant in Lafayette. Always delicious. Great place for a date. Best vegetarian selection in the city. Best lamb dishes (Lamb Osso Buco is my fav). If I could, I would eat here every day!
Yum! Love the chicken tikka masala!! Rice is good and the bread boxes are delicious. I think they are a little overpriced, but other than that, definitely go.
