Horrible food. This place is ice cold, atmosphere and food. I will never return. It’s just a place to waste your money and your appetite. Don’t go here.
So at first i was so excited to finally have another healthier deli option in lafayette but after a few times of going ive realized their selection just sucks and its hard to modify their menu. Add the fact its not an affordable sandwich salad combo i find my self wanting and ultimately not going.
If I’m remembering this place right the food’s pretty good and the service ain’t half bad either. Why do reviews need to have so many characters??
I have had panera in other locations and they have always been pretty good. The bread is always fresh and they have a good variety. I feel the Lafayette location is struggling in several areas although this is to be expected in any new restaurant. I do a lot of catering and find it an inconvenience at time to only be able to order online you are not able to call an order in over the phone. The drive through line is ridiculously long but with most newer restaurant that is to be expected. I will try again but I think I will wait until the craziness dies down.
Food is always good, but can get pricy if you can’t decide on only one thing.
Good food, friendly service. I have been to Panera Bread a few times since it opened and I have really enjoyed it. Their breakfast sandwiches are freshly made and taste wonderful. Love their everything bagel with Chive and Onion spread. Their hot cocoa is a little disappointing because it doesn’t have a lot of chocolate flavor so it seems a bit watered down but the salted caramel marshmallows are wonderful. I got their Mediterranean Veggie sandwich for lunch and I thought it was delicious but it could definitely have used more hummus. It is very easy to order online and go pick up in the store and all of the employees I have encountered have been much nicer and friendlier than most other quick service type restaurants. The gentleman who served me a couple of times at the drive thru in the morning was especially cheerful, helpful, and friendly. With a wide variety of soup, salads, sandwiches and pastries there is something for everyone.
Desert is the bright spot here and it is not even that bright. Sandwiches and salads are mediocre, and bread crust is too thick for my liking. But hey, some people like crust….i guess. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and go down the road to Jason’s deli. Same type of food, but much better.
