It had been awhile since I had been to Pete’s. I heard that they had new owners and spruced up the inside and on Tuesday night they had $15.99ribeye steaks. Ok I am steak lover, you might even say a connoisseur of the perfect steak. My definition of the perfect steak has to be highly seared on the outside with grill marks and a warm red center. I really didn’t expect a $16 (I round up) to meet my expectations. Well I was wrong although it was not the best steak I have ever eaten it was the best $16 steak I have consumed. I had a side dish of onion rings that were excellent. The night over all was very nice experience. The only negative was the rug rats running around but hey its a family restaurant so guess I should expect that.
Good burgers, bad experience. When we got there all the avaiable tables were dirty so we sat at one and waited for a waiter to greet us and clean the table. It ended up being 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. The waitress that ended up taking our table was very nice and apologized for the wait.It was only two of us and we just ordered burgers. It took almost an hour to get them and we were there before the lunch rush. The burgers were good but not worth the wait.
Overpriced, bland, and cold food. Ordered the special of chicken fried steak and nothing was not. Everything tasted like it had been microwaved. Fatty low quality meat. Cold potatoes. For 14 a plate I was very disappointed. Also tip was included in bill without being asked. Won’t go again!
Pete’s. Well after reading all the negative reviews, I still went to this restaurant. I don’t know why I had a bad experience. All I have to say is this: gargantuan, undercooked fries.
Pete’s use to be a dirty old bar with horrible food but the renovated everything menu and all. The burger is now absolutely increadable, juicy, thick, seasones right, especially great with pimento cheese in top. The fry are homemade now and are the best in town this remodel could not have done more for this place.
Used to be good – not any more. Save your money and don’t eat here. The burgers used to be really good, now they are terrible. Tiny patties of meat that has been handled so much it is tough and no seasoning on them. The order of fries is half the size they were a year ago. Yuck!
Great Customer Service. My mom and I went in for lunch today. After placing our orders we noticed that it was taking a while for our food to get to us. Ariana, the manager, came up to us to explain that our order had been forgotten by our waitress. She then comped our meal and gave us free dessert. She was so sweet that we didn’t care about the wait before. Thanks Ariana!
