So disappointing. We had been coming here for the last couple of years and loved it. However, the last two times we went (recently) the food just wasn’t good. I even found a piece of foil or something in my sushi, yuck. They were nice about it, but I won’t go back after two times of not liking the taste of the food at all. I don’t know if they changed owners or what, but something just isn’t working now.
After our previous sketchy experience, the owner, Justin, personally contacted me and reached out to me to try and accommodate the situation. The person I was with reordered the clay pot catfish, and it was amazing! I had the chicken salad and the filet mignon and both were flavored so well that I didn’t need anything extra. It was also plated so beautifully. Upon meeting Justin, we learned that he was extremely hard-working and passionate, and he truly cared about his customers. I mean, I have never experienced such hospitality, and I think tonight made me want to go back every week. He’s a caring boss and a great restaurant owner. I definitely felt welcomed and at home. I can’t wait to try his second location downtown (Pho-tastic)! I think even if you’ve ever had a bad experience here, you should give Pho Saigon a second chance, because it’s well worth it. We had great service and the food is PHENOMENAL. Thank you for everything, Justin!
Haven’t tried the food, for the simple fact that they NEVER have delivery drivers. Why advertise delivery is you don’t actually deliver. For this reason alone I will never try this place, and I’ll go to Saigon noodles instead
First time here. This was my first time here and I was impressed. Service is excellent and friendly. Not an expert on Vietnamese food by any means, but what I got , Pho dish, was delicious. Great price and more food than I could eat. I would recommend this place for those looking for Vietnamese food and those who like me want to try something different.
Good food; very friendly service. My husband has been on a Pho kick and convinced me to try this place since our usual Pho spot, Saigon Noodle, was packed. First of all the service here was wonderful! The young lady that seated us was so polite and helpful. Our waiter was a very nice guy who talked anime shows with my daughter and Dr. Who with our son. He was so polite, funny and gave just all around great service! I had Pho with round steak and fatty brisket and it was very good although I do have to say the broth at Saigon has a bit more flavor with hints of anise that I really like. Still, this place has delicious food and wonderful service. The menu is so large and varied that you are bound to find something to love!
Good food and attentive service. The hot pot is an exotic vacation in a bowl. Cook your own vegetables, noodles, seafood, and/or meat in a spicy broth at your table. Fun and delicious! One of Lafayette’s unassuming culinary treasures.
Pho saigon is one of the most authentic, delicious Vietnamese food. Im from Vietnam and I couldn’t tell the different between the food here and the food back home
