Great place to take visitors to our area. Crab Imperial is a house specialty for good reason. Or lump crabmeat sauted in butter. Dinner rolls will melt in your mouth and the remoulade sauce is the best choice to dress your salad. Perfect service always.
Riverside is the restaurant where local Cajuns go to eat a great meal when they want to eat out. The staff is friendly, responsive and very experienced, most have worked there a long time. The 3rd generation owners go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your dining experience.My favorite dish is the Lump Crabmeat Sauted in Butter, its very decadent and delicious. You almost feel guilty about eating something that good. The Redfish Extravaganza is another favorite of mine, though Ive yet to find anything I did not like. Ill definitely be back!
Bought a quart of their seafood gumbo today to bring to my elderly mom! Hope she likes it as much as I do!!!! they were kind and courteous on phone and had it ready quickly!!!!Their food is consistently delicious!!!! Service is primo!!!! Perfect for every Occasion. Long time favorite!!! It’s not fast food!!!

Overrated…. You can find better food somewhere else.. A rude waitress gave us attitude for simply asking questions about the menu and then proceeded to give even more attitude after we asked to have our check split with the other couple we were eating with.. Like we were bothering her.. Thanks, but we can take our business to other restaurants who would appreciate it!
Usually a very good Resturant. Unfortunately Saturday night was a miss. Had a reservation for 6:30pm arrived 10 min early and told by owner it would just be s few minutes to set the table. Was finally seated at 6:55. Service only went downhill from there. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable but was inattentive. Had to ask for things twice. Never refilled water glasses all night. Would disappear for lengths of time. Our table and others around would wonder where he was. Food was great as usual but service was lacking. Overall I would grade the experience a C- .
I won’t be there. No longer the good restaurant it use to be,,,, will not be going back…the food tasted like a tv dinner… the place is dark and damp…service just okay
