ordered a cake from pouparts three days in advance. went to pick the cake up and after many lies being told by the staff, they finally decided that they just forgot to make it, with the order still hanging on the wall. if that wasn’t enough i decided to give them another try and ordered a birthday cake. well, after dealing with rude employees, they made the cake, forgot to put the filling in the cake and put the wrong icing on the cake. i took the cake home because i had paid for it in advance, we cut the cake and it was horrible! the cake so so dry or old, you couldn’t eat it and the icing was very hard or old. people talk about this place, but i will not make another order there or purchase anything there either. extremely disappointed. their employees need a lesson in honesty and manners.

I love coming here. I can never leave with just one thing. Pouparts offers an array of delicious treats that aren’t overly sugary tasting… Poupart’s is the closest thing in Lafayette to the bakeries I’ve been to in Europe.
Awesome goodies, every time we visit Lafayette we have to go by and get our fix
The most phenomenal bakery in Southern Louisiana. The croissants are amazing and the bread, has to be tried to be believed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The custom cakes are a slice of heaven. If you only eat out at one place in Lafayette make it breakfast or lunch at the wonderful Pouparts.
This was the highlight of the eating on our trip. How dare you have so many delicious options. I didn’t even get to try them all.
Sweet treats, some I had never heard of, some I had heard of but never tasted, and some fresh takes or miniaturized versions of familiar sweets. Florentine = deceptively not overly sweet, great texture; mini lemon tart=great, fresh; chai tea cookie=fantastic flavors, texture, awesome; Bavarian cream Danish= good, fresh pastry flavor; raspberry dobash(her recommendation, pronounced dough-bage)=least favorite, I would have liked them to leave out the icing under the crunchy coating, excessiy sweet. Definitly going back. Also fresh breads, savory items, and more. I love love love that I can get 15 little (mini) items. Highly recommended.
