This place is a good place to reserve for a large group, but I am not a huge fan of their food. To be honest, their boiled crawfish is pretty good but served in a plastic cambro with little regard for presentation. Other dishes are mediocre and sort of slapped on the plate. The bright side is the dance floor in the center of the restaurant, especially on Sundays when it can get lively.
Great food nice people and live band. Good times 🙂
Fun Atmosphere, Passable Cuisine. Randol’s is a great place to go for live music and dancing, and adding in dinner is not a bad idea, either. However, the food was not spectacular, and the service seemed rushed and rather indifferent, considering that when we were there, the restaurant was not crowded. Most people were enjoying the crawfish–huge plastic buckets of the critters gleaming bright red nestled alongside the bright yellow of boiled corn. Such a color combo cannot help but look appetizing. I had the crawfish etouffee, and while it was good, it was not great. For one thing, it was allowed to sit awhile at the pass, so it came to me only warm. The spice was there but muted. The bread was particularly sad–just a cheap hunk of store-bought Italian white bread. Salads here were actually large and fresh, so that was a plus. At any rate, the music and dancing was a lot of fun, and this place epitomizes the best of Cajun culture. So, go for that, and if you do not have huge anticipation of a fabulous meal, you will probably be perfectly satisfied.
Good food, bon temps. Really good food in a very casual atmosphere complete with live music.
For 28.00 the steak had no seasoning and a lot of gristle. The service was totally unwelcoming. The place was pretty empty, I know why!
HORRIBLE!! touffe tasted horrible, like foot. Shrimp pasta had no seasoning or taste to it. Service was okay. Food was over priced for the quality. Would not recommend others to go.
Horrible!!!!!!!! Bad food for the price! Parking needs to be redone!
