Best Place in Town. I live in houston but cone through Lafayette quite often for business and this is the best place to eat in town! there have been days where I eat there for both breakfast and lunch. Curious George is amazing and even better with a chicken breast on it!! great service and the chefs come chat with me every time. You are missing one of life’s hidden pleasures if you don’t eat here.
Great breakfast and lunch. I have been several time and tried many of the items served and have yet to be disappointed.
I absolutely love this place! Very family friendly and the food is fantastic.
Homemade, Creative Comfort Food. Yum! Delicious food obviously made with fresh ingredients and care. For breakfast, we get fluffy biscuits to go, served with toppings like egg, bacon, cheese, etc. or just plain. Although they have a full breakfast menu, we haven’t dined in yet (they’re not open on weekends, sadly). The lunch menu has sandwiches and salads that are a little different but not weird– The Big Green sandwich is my favorite because of the focaccia bread. It’s a clean and homey place and the staff is friendly. There is some outdoor seating on a side patio. One of my new favorite places.
Nothing short of fantastic!. I had been wanting to try this place and finally went for breakfast and I cannot wait to go back. The restaurant itself is kind of small and a little crowded but the food was amazing. I had the ragin rooster with the pepperjelly on the side and a side of seasonal fruit. Holy moly… the chicken was hand-battered and seasoned perfectly and the biscuit had to be homemade. The seasonal fruit was a mix of strawberries, grapes, blueberries and rasberries and perfectly ripe. Do yourself a favor if you haven’t tried it yet it is worth it.
Came from California looking for great food. Found it at the Rusted Rooster! Fresh, flavorful and made with quality ingredients. We will be back.
Since I’ve eaten breakfast here, I won’t eat at any other place. I had their jalapeo cheese burger yesterday. Best burger I’ve ever had. Just ate cold leftovers- still amazing.
