Awesome food and great dinning experience! Service was great!! Was greeted right away and hibachi was the best I have had. We will definitely be returning!!
I’m surprised by all of the positive reviews this place receives. We had been years ago but decided to go for the sushi this time and I hate to say I was disappointed and I rarely leave negative reviews. We were seated and waiting for awhile for our drinks while waiting we noticed that the waiter who took our order was standing around watching horse racing and chatting with his colleagues. After a good 10 min I finally asked a waitress about our drinks she immediately made them which I appreciate but my drink had things floating in it and had to be returned. The sushi was decent but I believe there are much better places in town and imo that are cleaner. I will not be returning.
This is actually a really nice place to grab sushi. They are very generous with their portions for even one roll of sushi. The soup is really good. The only negative thing I can say is the location can be inconvenient sometimes.
Absolutely love this place, best sushi and hibachi and always quick and friendly service. There’s absolutely no place better for me than shintos!
This is one of our family’s favorite restaurants, it’s the first thing out of my nine year olds mouth when we start talking about eating in town. I do have to admit that the service lacks at times when they are busy and since they added more regular tables for those who don’t want habachi it has become very crowded. However, their food is amazing and their presentation has Improved greatly over the last couple of years. We try new rolls everytime we go in and have not come across any that we disliked, of course we each have our favorite.
You might want to order for pick up. I have come here many times over the years, and on occasion, I still do. Service has never been excellent and in some cases, it has been down right awful. A bus person spilled a pitcher of water into my coworker’s lap and all over her food. My coworker cleaned her self and the floor after being handed a small towel, she proceeded to eat her wet food in her wet clothes after being told by the manager there was nothing he could do when he came by to see how our lunch was going. He then, belittled the person who spilled on my coworker. On another occasion on which I went for lunch, I was advised against placing the order I wanted by the manager, because it was a baked roll which takes too long and they needed to close. I could go on, as I have been here many of times. The food is so good it keeps me coming back. I prefer to call for take out, instead of dining in.
My family ate here for dinner tonight. The wait staff was pleasant and very attentive. I ordered sushi and my husband ordered hibachi filet. Both were good. The waitress even made special chopsticks for my 5 year old.
