Only go if you don’t mind cold or heat lamp dried out food!. I try very hard to not visit fast food places especially in Lafayette because the food quality is just so poor at most of them. This location of Sonic is one of the worst. Don’t go there for an early dinner because you will end up eating the nasty heat lamp dried out food leftover from lunch. My kids had the chicken nuggets and they were like eating sawdust they were so dried out and tough. The fries were c-o-l-d and soggy. My pretzel dog was just pathetic, a very small shriveled up wiener with a smear of mustard on a tasteless bun that was supposed to be a pretzel. My cheese tots were served with a layer of congealed cheese. Finally, the one thing I was looking forward to and the ONLY reason I allowed my kids to con me into taking them to Sonic was to get a shake and they couldn’t even get that right. Our chocolate shakes had very little chocolate in them and they had the distinct taste of coconut in all three of them. The one and only bright spot was that the young lady who took our order at the drive through was very cheerful and friendly.
