Good service, great sushi and appetizers, and all around good experience. Very accommodating to children as well! Definitely one of our favorite sushi places in Lafayette!
We walked in on a Sunday afternoon after a long shopping spree because we were really hungry. The restaurant felt nice and cozy. I liked the decor inside. It had a pretty modern feel to it. I liked the theme of using black and white. We got a table beside of a large window and loved the view. We ordered a chicken Stir Fried Udon which was very yummy to say the least!!! They needed to be reminded about the soup though, but the udon was very tasty and filling. Along with that, I ordered the Noodle Soup and that was a very large and filling bowl that I would highly recommend. Overall, a thumbs up.
I’m so glad I gave this restaurant a try. Their menu has so much to choose from. Not only sushi. Their bloody Mary’s by far the best due to you could top it off with TAO’s Cracklin’s or yakitori . Their Ramen and sushi is very fresh. Will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.
First time eating at Tao. This restaurant is * locally owned * – not a chain. The spicy tuna roll and Phoenix (off menu, but still available were delicious. Not into sushi? No problem. There are other Asian dishes on the menu. Enjoyed their green tea cake for dessert. The service was very good. Come out and support this local restaurant!
Brand new restaurant. Unimpressive strip mall exterior. But the inside of the restaurant is actually nice – new, sort of hip, etc. We found the food to be good though not great. Enjoyed the lobster egg roll appetizer in particular.
This is one of the best sushi restaurants in Lafayette. The sushi is always super fresh and the rolls are really unique. They also have fresh wasabi upon request which is a must for anyone who really loves sushi. Their lobster Udon and all of the apps are really good. My only gripe is that my portions are sometimes small when ordering to-go food, but the manager responded well to the complaint.
