Horrible Salad. I stopped by for a quick Chicken Feta Salad to go. It was the Worst feta salad I have ever had. I could tell the chicken had been sitting out ( cooked) they tossed it in some plain iceberg lettuce and put all that in a pan. I don’t know about everyone else, but I prefer not to have my lettuce cooked when ordering a cold salad. For $12 I expected more than hot lettuce, bland chicken, 1 olive and 1 small slice of tomato. I have had the salads at other locations and they are quite good. I am never coming back to this location again.

Do not like this location at ALL. I got my usual Zeus order, Chicken Schwarma Plate, and it was awful. I much prefer the Downtown location.

So so. The stunning culture at Zeus Caf made me feel as if I am right in the Mediterranean region; however, the outlandish food will not have me coming back. As soon as I walked in, the sound of music rushed into my ears. It was not overpowering to where I couldn’t hold a conversation without repeating myself over and over again. For an appetizer, I ordered the grape leaves. The taste of them was so tart as if the cook drowned the leaves with vinegar. I got the Vegetarian Eggplant Royal as my main course. The taste of each vegetable was the same because the olive oil masked each of the flavors. Even though I enjoyed the look and decor of Zeus, the food was just too much for me.

The salad was good; chicken was well seasoned, grilled shrimp were reported to be good. Rice was sticky and not appealing. Mousaka was bland, average, and tepid. Also, it didn’t appear to have any actual eggplant in it. Prices are higher than other similar restaurants in town. But the reason I rarely visit any Zeus restaurant is that the service is deplorable. The male waiters are unbelievably rude: I had a salad thrown across the table at me; my chair hit hard enough to knock me into the table, with no apology; some friends were once treated so rudely we all left; a waiter asking if we wanted change from a $20 bill for a $12 lunch, then not bringing back all the change; the hostess didn’t want to let us sit where we requested, but kept trying to sandwich us between two loud tables, when the rest of the place was empty (it was early for dinner, so it wasn’t that they’d already swept)… last time I went, the belly dancer interrupted our conversation and tried to start one of her own. Really? We tried very hard to discourage her — no eye contact, turning our heads away when she approached — but she actually just danced up and started talking to us, and wouldn’t go away. We were trying to have a private conversation, which should have been obvious. This may not be a restaurant problem so much, but it’s all enough to keep me away. Oh, and the hummous tasted like nothing but tahini.

My husband I tried this place tonight and I will definitely be back!! Our server, Jude could not have been better! We let him recommend a wine and our entrees. I had the lamb shank and my husband had chicken shwarma and a shrimp kabob. Both were amazing!! Atmosphere was great and belly dancer was very entertaining. Will be back for sure!

Best Greek in town!!!. So I just tried the lamb chops — they were AMAZING!!! I also snuck a taste of my sister’s chicken shawarma salad – yum!!! We had a blast trying to learn to dance with the bellydancer and our server was super friendly. If you want great service and delicious food – this is totally the place to go!!!

Fan-friggen-tastic. I eat at Zeus almost once a week. The food is exceptional and the service quite up to par. You simply HAVE to try the mediterranean hummus (has feta and sun-dried tomatoes!) the shrimp kabob (jumbo shrimp marinaded in a creamy oregano sauce) or the ever beloved eggplant royal (roasted eggplant stuffed with sauteed veggies, shrimp topped with mozzarella and a white wine cream sauce!!!) After eating this you may become addicted like my self. Trust me.. it’s more than delicious.
