Very typical Cajun restaraunt. Hole in the wall venue, casual wait staff, cheap materials as far as the table, chairs, and utensils are concerned, yet the food is flavorful and excellent and the people are friendly (sometimes too friendly!)
Horrible Service. Went to eat on our way back from Grande Isle and had about the worst service you can imagine. It felt as though we were pinned as outsiders from the second we walked in the door and one of the waitresses refused to check on our table like she did to everyone else. We were very polite and never did anything to piss them off. The food was pretty good, but the service made the whole experience so bad we will never go back nor will we recommend this place to any of our friends. And by outsiders I mean we are from New Orleans and not Lockport. Imagine if some real tourists walked in.
