Came here for lunch on a weekday. Service was quick, chopped brisket sandwich was really good. I liked their BBQ sauce they had on the line, and the dirty rice and baked beans were both very good. I would definitely recommend the baked beans, they had an awesome smokey flavor. Service was great and everyone was very nice. Food was cheap for the amount we got. Overall very good experience.
Best BBQ. We ate there this Sunday. Had the buffet, it is $2 .more for the ribs. Well worth the extra money. Some of the best BBQ I have had. The rice dressing is amazing. Ribs fell off the bone, baked beans were awesome, they put the burnt ends from the brisket in the beans. We will definitely go back.
Everybody raves about the Bar B Que and it is certainly worth every compliment it gets but don’t forget their Dirty Rice…OMG. THE BEST IVE EVER HAD ON A RESTAURANT. extra meaty and oh so moist!

Po Boy. Its hard to find a good BBQ joint away from Texas. I had a po boy and asked for it Texas style…which is chopped beef, brisket and sausage. To my surprise it was amazing! We will be back next time here in Louisiana for BBQ!
Found Something I Liked. I did go back and resolved the mystery of the missing smoke taste. It has do to with the way the meat cutter mixes the top cuts in with bottom cuts before putting the serving tray on line. A uniform mix of cuts means variations in the smoke ring is averaged out. Anywho, things tasted as they should, the owner is awesome and the baked beans were the best I ever tasted this side of Little Rock.16 Jun, 2014I JUST DON’T KNOW. The smoke ring on the brisket looked great. The dribble of sauce on my tongue was tasty. And all the smells were right. But no smoke taste, I mean none, nada, zero. How does that happen? I plan on going back to put this mystery to rest.
My choice for ribs. The ribs are great! I love how they’re tender yet not so tender that the entire bone slides out while you’re taking your first bite. Just my opinion, they should be tender yet you can still pull away and leave a bite mark. That’s how these are. Very juicy and delicious. I didn’t even use the bbq sauce. I want to taste the ribs, not the sauce.Most places smother ribs, bbq under a ton of sauce and that’s all you taste. Not here. I asked for it on the side, just in case the meat was dry but it wasn’t. Very good. I highly recommend.
