Very disappointing experience. Use to eat here often. First time going since chef and menu changed. Not good. All the old favorites are gone. Crawfish enchiladas were okay but not as good as before. Couldnt eat the purple hull peas-too salty. Took a long time to order dessert. Server didnt tell us that one dessert would take longer so my wife got hers after everyone else was finished(except me). My bread pudding had burnt pecans on it. I still cant get the taste out of my mouth. The service was very bad. I had to ask another server to find ours so that we could get our check. A couple at another table were so disgusted that the husband threw some money on the table and left. The change was not for the better. Wont go back.

We went there for the Sunday Brunch Buffet and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating. Lots of room. There was a duo on the stage singing and they were great. The food was excellent. Great variety of dishes. Very flavorful. It is best to make a reservation because it can be a bit of a wait otherwise. I will recommend Blue Dog to anyone and everyone.

One reason I stopped here was the sugar free dessert but sadly, it was dry and not very tasty. I’ve had much better SF desserts. However, everything else was great! Ambience, service, seafood wontons, all of it.

Had a recent dinner. Loved the dirty rice ..and scalloped potatoes. I enjoyed my pasta fish..was lovely chicken artichokes. Nice meal but wanted a little more Cajun or Creole spice. Definitely going to visit for brunch.

Took in the Sunday Brunch awhile back and I have been thinking about it ever since. The Blue Dog probably serves the best Cajun style breakfast buffet this side of New Orleans, I am telling you it was all good and fun too! One worry though, their Bloody Mary, although deliciously spicy, was kind ofnaked, if you know what I mean.
