A really great place- great environment and great people. They play pandora which is lovely, and the crew is really sweet and accommodating. The hot dogs are pricy but delicious.
Boss Dawgs. The owner was super friendly and the staff was amazing. I can’t eat regular hot dogs anymore. If you’re passing through Lake Charles, take a detour and get served. I will totally go back. Botskys is A-number-1 in my book.

Hail to the Dog!. I work in downtown Lake Charles, and I have to admit, I probably eat at Botsky’s 2-3 times a week. Over the last year, well you do the math, but that is a lot of doggage. This place is lovely. The food is always delicious, their specialty dogs are worth the trip every time. And the service is probably the best in Lake Charles. They always greet me when I come in and thank me when I leave. This is the new staple of downtown dining.I recommend getting crazy with your fries! Any toppings they offer for the dogs can be put on top of the fries too. Don’t be shy! Did I mention how incredible the food is?
Finally, a modern niche restaurant!. Just tried Botsky’s out, and I’ve got to hand it to them, they’re doing what Lake Charles has failed to deliver over and over again: an updated, modern, and super-sexy restaurant that has both high-class flavor and style. Wall to wall, the entirety of their presentation is nothing less than premium. Of course, with such a premium atmosphere, variety, and taste, there’s also comes a premium price… a bit too premium, especially for the area that it’s in. Once you jump the hurdle that is your price, you’ll find one of the best-looking and well-kept restaurants in the area. There’s nothing quite like this in Lake Charles — it was certainly overdue, and they didn’t fail to deliver the quality dog I was hungry for.Food sampled: 1 KOBE Beef Dog with Chili, Swiss, and Jalapenos ($10 after tax)
Just made my tenth trip to Botskys. I have to say it is still awesome. Great service and I love those dogs. Keep up the good work.12 Mar, 2014This is best kept secret in Lake Charles. A hot dog lovers dream. Franchise! Franchise! Franchise! This needs to to spread like wildfire.
