Food was not fit for human consumption. Manager came to table and saw problem grabbed up plate and took it to the back. We waited to get a sorry or some type of response .We decided to leave and manger decide to apologize on our way out. We will not be back.
I think I could eat here once a week if my paycheck warranted it. It’s a classic. Don’t expect authentic Mexican because that’s not what it is. But it IS good. This restaurant is a family owned business that has been around forever. My service is always wonderful.
What a disappointmen. Margarita was small expensive and not that great. Rice tasted like it came straight from a,can.. quesadilla was very good chips oily. Sorry just not impressed
Horrible service from the start. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks, once they even took our drink order. I ordered a margarita on the rocks with salt. Came out with no salt and room temperature at best. We ordered our tacos with corn tortillas and received flour. The shrimp tacos were good, but that’s all this place has going for them. We won’t be going back.
Ooo…Haters Be HATIN’!…. I’ve been dining on Casa Manana since I was in my 20’s. I’ve also been to numerous so-called ‘authentic mexican/tex-mex’ restaurants, both locally and out-of-town. Sorry, Texicans and local haters; Casa blows ’em all away. I TREAT m’self on my birthday and other special occasions with double full orders of beef & cheese nachos dressed with guac, sauteed onions, sour cream and jalapenos; they’re the BEST. Nowadays I get my orders to go, but in my younger days I used to eat inside quite frequently; neeever had a (major) personal problem with the service, or the ‘ambiance’ (which I found ‘homey’), and I can’t believe it’s changed very much. Perhaps it’s just snotty snooty people complaining just to complain about something in their over-pampered life? Methinks so.
Nada to Casa Maana. Kinda reminds me of one of those food trough eateries you find at some cheap roadside attractions. Gosh, I really think a frozen Mexican dinner would taste better. Can’t find any silver lining to speak of in their food, service, or ambience. I don’t know, maybe they have clean bathrooms? Will only go back if someone else is buying.
Wrong order. I got a cheese enchilada instead of the chicken enchilada that i ordered, verde salsa and white cheese. the thing is i live in topsy so i couldnt go back. love this restaurant I will checkmmy order more closely next time
