Love it!. Great burgers and fries. A bit over-priced given it is basically a burger and fries joint, but still great food, fresh and cooked at the time of order. I do wish they would have maybe a 1/2 order of fries. The smallest order usually is sufficient for 3 of us.
Fan of Five guys, so glad to see them in LC! Burgers are made to order and you can get whatever toppings you want. The regular burger has 2 patties so I order the little burger which only has 1. I love the cooked mushrooms and onions as a topping. They give you alot of fries, you can split between two people. My daughter likes the grilled cheese.
Beat the Rush Hour Crowd. We had tried a Five Guys earlier in PC Beach, so extremely happy to see one closer to home in Lake Charles. We were able to get in before the dinner rush – if there was one. Extremely fast service! The burger was great – this time we knew how the format worked and topped it with lots of condiments. We asked for less salt on the fries and that worked out well, too. They give you so many! Highly recommend to anyone who desires a great burger.

First Time at Five Guys. First off, I will take into consideration that this particular restaurant had just-just opened so there are probably some kinks to work out. Having said that, I will say I was impressed, as a first timer to the chain, with the quality of ingredients and the entire menu. Love that u can build your own burger at no extra charge with fresh quality choices. The portions were big and the price is about right. Now, I did find my burger, bacon, and fries to be slightly over cooked but since the place is new, I will believe that may be a hitch in getting things right and will be corrected with practice. Overall I think the burgers are better than most and will be visiting more Five Guys, including this one.
Americana done right. Rarely do I get so excited about a chain/franchise moving into town, but if you have been to another Five Guys before, then you already know how different they are. For the uninitiated, just look at their website. How many franchises have been Zagat rated or voted best in town?Everything is fresh as fresh could be and delivered daily. They shove that in your face in classic style, in every restaurant–fresh peanuts as you walk in to munch on in line, sacks upon sacks of potatoes (nothing frozen) cut fresh daily and fried in deliciously flavorful peanut oil. Just as they advertise, this is (at least tied for) the best burger you can buy for $5-$6, stacked just the way you like it at no extra charge.Unless you are deathly allergic to peanuts, there should be absolutely no reason to eat any other burgers or fries in town that are not made here.
