This place is a fairly average steak place. The menu is generally solid, although the plating is a bit dated. I ordered the smaller of the two ribeyes with the baked potato. It’s a shame that they don’t have sweet potatoes as an option, but I think that’s also a result of the age of the restaurant. Sweet potatoes just were viewed as too lowbrow in the past. The ribeye came out slightly overdone but the unfortunate thing was that the steak tasted like someone had already put A1 steak sauce on it. I was not a fan of the fact that the steak was so heavily seasoned. Other than that it was a beautiful experience at some lovely dining, and the wait staff were very prompt and courteous.
Wonderful food in a classy setting. Great place for business lunches or family dinner! You won’t be disappointed. The brownie ice cream dessert is phenomenal!!!!
Average at best, not worth the money.
Lake Charles’ best steaks. Harlequin is special to my wife and I. We got married with a hurricane heading our way and had to cancel to the honeymoon to evacuate. Harlequin saved our wedding night with fantastic service and staying open till last moment. Our anniversaries are here as well as several nights out. Highly recommend.
At first I was kind of worried about trying this place but I’m glad my wife and I went. The food and service was good. Our food didn’t take too much of time getting prepared. The setting is nice, though I wish it was slightly more lighted or the curtains open in my opinion. Others may like it like that. Our first time experience here was great and I would recommend this place to others.
Great place to dine, Excellent service good quality of food! All though they should add more side items #ijs & yes the salad taste cheap but overall I would go back again.Oh and thanks Mike for putting me and my girlfriend near the fire place made the food that much better!
Not great. I’ve only been to Harlequin for meetings and it really doesn’t make me want to dine there on my own. The salad is iceberg lettuce, seems like it is straight out of a bag. I think the dressing is out of a bottle too. They do a buffet style lunch and the pairings of food is always odd. I think the vegetables were also frozen from a bag. They really need to cook from scratch and improve the quality to bring back repeat customers.
