Perfect for a true dining experience. Went here with my husband for our anniversary. It is expensive, and worth every penny if you appreciate fine dining. The best meal and dining experience we have had since we moved here. Gorgeous setting, impeccable service, fantastic food.
Fabulous!. By far the best meal we have had in Lake Charles! The food was exquisite and the service was perfect!! Love love love this restaurant. We will definitely dine here often 🙂
Service was superb. Food was equally superb. Be prepared to pay for the service and quality. Ate there on a Friday evening and had reservations. Didn’t seem to need it from the looks of the empty tables. Would go there on a nice occasion like celebrating an anniversary.
Diamond in the rough. Not too often do you find a city the size of ours with true four-star fine dining, and La Truffe delivers, to the point where it is difficult to consider somewhere else for special occasions. We have been there three times now, and we have been consistently impressed with entire experience from the time we walk in the door until the time we leave. Even when I managed to spill a little champagne, it only made me laugh. The service is dignified and deliberate–if you are impatient or have somewhere else to go, you will want to avoid this place.Wine cellar is larger than some well-touted restaurants in big cities. Duck Confit and the Colorado Rack of Lamb are musts. And whatever you do, DO NOT leave without having the souffle. It was as perfect as it was when I visited Paris.
Dining at La Truffe Sauvage. Absolutely the best restaurant between Houston and New Orleans. Atmosphere is peaceful with the feeling no one else is there but you and your date. Service is personnal but not too familiar. Everyone should treat themselves to a true, complete dinning experience at La Truffe Sauvage. Lake Charles is VERY lucky to have this restaurant.
Best food in LC!. This is hands down the best place to eat in LC for a romantic or celebrated evening. Best talent in the kitchen and dishes are executed with near perfection. Duck Confit, Scallops Rockefeller, and Lobster Bisque should not be passed up on this menu.
