In terms of Indian restaurants nationwide this place is fairly run of the mill. I think personally that the butter chicken is the best thing on the menu, but on the other hand the service is not great. One server always working, and never any attention to customers drinks or well-being. Half the time that person is running the booth, checking out customers, taking phone orders, and communicating with the kitchen. That said, the Dal was very good, and the Gobi Manchurian was excellent although unexpected in terms of flavor and color.
We love this place. Great food. So happy to finally have Indian food in L.C. now. My only complaint is every time I go, they are out of certain side items that I love. Maybe in time they will make up for this.
The food is outstanding! My only complaint is that the prices are a bit high, certainly for the lunch buffet/individual items for a lunch. Kind service and great food though.
Just for lamb curry for take out. Well let’s just say it was good enough to pick up my phone a write a positive review. Big chunks of meat. Spices are so good. Service was warm. Thank you Raja’s, I’ll be back!
