The worst shrimp etoufee I’ve ever had….. salt was the only seasoning and lots of it . Only a few extremely small shrimp, very disappointing.
I had the crawfish etouffee for dinner, it was not really flavorful and there is just better etouffee out there. Whereas my friend got the shrimp Poboy and thought it was really good.
Overall Great. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The food was really good and had goods portions. Southern Spice on Ryan St. has a very homey look and atmosphere. I would definitely come here again.
Great gumbo!
Not worth the wait. Worst service ever!. Apparently, Southern Spice has it’s favorites and ignores customers for unknown reasons. Our money is as green as everyone else’s. If they keep snubbing customers and ignoring them they will have quiet mornings at their establishment. Btw charging 6 dollars for three cups of coffee without refills is wrong! I will never go back as I am not a fan of waiting for over half an hour for breakfast food and passed numerous times by servers without coffee refills while others get the coffee repeatedly.
Good Morning!. I prefer to hit up Southern Spice for breakfast. They’re always cheery, keep the coffee flowing and have home fries offered as a side!
Good food! Great atmosphere. Very friendly! Great seafood!
