Love Tony’s. Been going for 35 years. They have the BEST homemade Italian dressing. Favorites are the spaghetti and Tony’s special pizza. YUM!
Are you people high?. Best Italian in the city. Reading lots of negative reviews. Fine, go to another place. Less douchebags in the restaurant and more Tony’s Special for us. It’s a win-win.
Spaghetti & Meatballs. Meatballs are homemade with itialian sausage in them. Bread was perfect! Absolutely love the house itialian dressing01 May, 2015Beef And Cheese po Boy With Onion Rings. Was very good meat. Bread was excellent. Onion rings perfect!
That’ll Do. I wish I would have stayed and downed my pizza in their awesome looking dining room. But I carried ’em home and ate every bit. The meat, cheese and sauce were fine but the crust was a undercooked. Can’t put Tony’s at the top of my pizzeria leader board but they are definitely on the upper end for comparable local establishments.
It’s got great, fresh food prepared as it was years before big chains took root in our culture. If you like the big chains and all their msg flavored, mass produced garbage then you will NOT like Tony’s. Their food is fresh, whole food traditionally made. Get the baked Italian sub or the chicken Parmesan. Both rock. Going to Tony’s is like stepping back in time to a period when the food was real, the owners were on site, and the meal was family focused. And I love it. If you like the glitz of mainstream modern America, keep looking. I you want great food in a family environment then Tony’s is your spot.
Not Italian. Making everything spicy is NOT Italian.I’m ashamed if this is what people think of how Lutherans cook. I grew up Lutheran, so I learned about cooking from a lot of those people (as well as cajun people). The food here is definitely not that great. I’ve tried the fried ravioli (just spicy), the Roast Beef sandwich (it made me sick), and the pizza (either bland with no taste or too spicy).
Super pizza and great meatball po’boys. Great staff too.
