Mediocre & Overpriced, go to Lago.. I’ve eaten here a few times trying give them a chance to win me over. Enchiladas were meh, Fiery Garlic Shrimp ($17.00) was neither fiery nor tasting of garlic, totally disappointed:( Fish tacos are okay but you can get better elsewhere in Mandeville for much less. $16.50 for talapia!!?

Good job Amanda and we had a big group. We dined at George’s Monday evening for a family birthday celebration. I dine at George’s periodically and have always enjoyed it — Monday night was above and beyond. We had 17 people which I know is a challenge for any restaurant. Amanda was our server and I think she did such a wonderful job. She was on top of the evening and took care of all our needs (even the crayons that the kids wanted). I had fajitas for the first time at George’s – I REALLY enjoyed them and will get them again in the future. Several of us had fajitas but also a chicken and vegetable dish, tacos, the kids had chicken tenders — everyone was very happy and it was a super night. I just can’t compliment Amanda enough. I’ll go back more often!!!!!!! thank you!
My husband and I love George’s. Great food and atmosphere. I especially like the Nachos de George.
If your kids like chips and salsa don’t go here! I was shocked at the spicy ness of the salsa. Maybe they want you to eat less of it. Besides the kick to the salsa it just wasn’t a good salsa. The menu was very confusing to read! I had to ask for help. If you want the best Mexican go to La Carreta. On the plus side the service was good.
