Loved it.. Took our mothers to Mandes for mothers day and although the wait was long, the food was great. My husband’s steak and eggs exceeded his expectations. The steak was cooked medium as he requested and my eggs florentine were just how I like them. My only complaint would be the coffee. It is weak and there is no bold or robust option.
Food was top notch. We had eggs Sardou and a waffle and they couldn’t have tasted any better. The homefries did taste old and refried but the eggs were so out of this world it didn’t matter. The waffle was light and crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Perfect.
Would like to respond to Daryll Womak’s comment. I never fussed at server In front of customer, and had NO problem with customer changing his mind as his original order was coming out. My discussion with server was to make sure customer would not be upset when rest of order would not be up for 15 more min. It was our PEAK business hour on a Sunday, and he wanted to talk to me about fussing at server! Seriously? No complaints about food ( told server was great) but wanted to have a conversation about what he thought he heard me say to server? People can say whatever they want, doesn’t make it true.
Terrible experience! Manager was so rude and actually fussed at our waitress right in front of us because we asked to change our order. We tried to talk to the manager and explain and she was rude and abnoxious to us! Food not good enough to deal with that! We will never go back!
Great Breakfast. Good breakfast menu and good service. I usually get the biscuits and gravy which is hands down the best I have ever had. The grits are really good – not sure how they cook the grits but it is better than the majority of restaurants out there. Good food, good service and the pricing it reasonable.
We liked this place very much. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The banana and pecan pancakes were delish and they have THE best biscuits and sausage gravy!! Loved it!! Would definitely recommend.
The best eggs benedict i ever had. I dont know what people are saying about rudeness, because everyone was very friendly. My girlfriends eggs sardou was unbelievable, as was the freshly squeezed oj. Highly recommend this spot
