Cute little converted house. The food is decent– average run of the mill Mexican bill of fare. Reasonably priced with good portion sizes. Located right on 190.
I’ve eaten 25-30 times and have never had a bad meal. This is a no frills restaurant and the prices reflect that. The restaurant is an house that has been converted. It is our go to place for Mexican.
The Two Chili Rellenos Dinner Topped with Beef. Plenty of food, fresh, authentic, a great portion of sides (beans and rice). I love this place! Not to mention the prices are very reasonable!
Good food but absolutely horrible service. We had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated and the place was empty. Our server took way to long and forgot several things, not the mention the employees were rude.
Ruined Cinco De Mayo. Well this is the second horrible experience I have had there. The first time the owner spilled salsa all over my back when trying to clean up too much off a nearby table. Accidents happen, but I would have expected a comped meal or entree at least. Tonight was Cinco De Mayo and while it was busy, it certainly shouldn’t have been the diasater that it was. I worked in the service industry for many years and this place seems to have no leader. When we arrived there was an hour wait, no big deal so I went to the bar to get a drink. One bartender was trying the best that he could while the other had no clue and I watched him run around for five minutes looking busy, but did not know how to work the computer and in that five minutes only got one person a water.After sitting down the waitress was on time and did a good job of getting drinks to the table and checking back on us. I could tell she was flustered as I saw her running around before we sat down. She did a good job though. The problem was we sat there for an hour and a half and never received our food so we ended up leaving some money on the table and walking out. Before we went I told my wife that I would never go back there after having salsa spilled all over my back, well I did, and they ruined Cinco De Mayo for me and my family. Needless to say, I will never go back.
Good but always wrong. I order take out approximately one a week…food is good, prices are decent but I can never go there again as the order is always wrong. I have to check the order every time before I leave and something is always left out. I’m not making special orders or substituting either but they just can’t seem to get it right. They always correct the order and they”ve even delivered missing entrees to my house (before I started checking) but it’s too inconvenient and frustrating to ever eat there again.
I got a $50 gift certificate and was so worried that the food won’t be good because of the bad reviews on here. They proved me wrong. The gauc dip was fresh and delicious. The salsa has a wonderful fire roasted flavor. Everything was fresh. We ordered the cheese and chicken quesadillas, chicken and beef soft tacos and a few other items. My family enjoyed everything. We had ordered it takeout and the hostess was very nice and one of the waitresses helped me carry everything out to my car. That’s all I can tell you about the service since we didn’t dine in. The seating waiting area looks pretty funky and could definitely use a good scrubbing and fresh paint. Besides that, I would recommend it.
