Limited hours07 May, 2014Shrimp Po boy was packed but lacked seasoning. The roast beef tastes like it was cooked in store bought pre made gravy. No debris, no seasoning, no taste. A real shame given the reputation of this place. I felt like it was a real waste of a 1000 calories.
Bears in Covington was closed July 1-8, decided to give this place a try. Disgusting!! Roast Beef tastes store bought and tough – the bread was awful. No taste at all. Not even in the same league as Bears…. Service was awesome though. Disappointed I wasted the calories on the Poboy –
I love this place!! Shrimp poboys, baked macaroni, roast beef, all daily specials, overstuffed baked potatoes!! Everything I have ever eaten here is great. It is always a place we go to once a week. If I had the money, I’d eat here everyday. They give you large portions every time. The food is consistent and the same person greets you at the cash register each visit. You must try their crab bisque.
Best poboys on the Northshore. You really cant go wrong here. My favorites here are the crab cake pasta, Ferdie, Veal Parm over mac & cheese, and the cheese fries with debris. Very friendly staff and have never had a bad meal here.
The only things I’ve had here are the Shrimp Poboy and eggplant stick appetizer. But they are so good, I get them every time :). Highly recommend!!
Good food, but they need more help. They get way too busy & can’t handle the phone orders so they just take the phone off the hook. Maybe move to a bigger place & expand you take out help.
