The best the services is very good, My husband goes to Thailand and the chef made his food original Thai and made food that some times is not in the menu.(SUPPER HOT)for him. I love theway they cook the vegies just right not over cook just crunchy I can define the deferent flavors, I have tried everything in their menu and never disappointed. I love curry and the Thai curry is no t as heavy as the Indian curry My personal taste. Try and enjoy!
The food was very tasty and portions were generous. I’m surprised more people haven’t discovered this gem. We’ll be back. The decor was nice.
Great food! It always tastes freshly prepared and the staff is very nice. I love the paanang curry and the tom yum soup. The pad see ewe is good too.
Delicious food!! So glad we found our favorite Thai food from Gretna, over on the Northshore!! Thanks to Sara and her husband for the wonderful lunch and dessert! We will definitely be back!

Sawasdee a 5 Star Thai Restaurant. My wife and I went for lunch and we loved this restaurant. I don’t want to be hasty, but Sawasdee could be the best Thai Restaurant I’ve been to anywhere. Certainly in New Orleans, it is. From the start to finish, the food was fresh and freshly made. We had the egg rolls and dumplings as our appetizers which were awesome with their sweet sauces. The restaurant starts you off with a small fresh salad with a slice of cucumber, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrot and house dressing. The vegetables had the crunch as though they were just picked from the garden. The dressing was different and good too. My wife had the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and I had the Khao Soi with bay scallops (This meal has a photo on this site). Both dishes were simply delicious and we had plenty of leftovers for a rerun that night. To sum it up, if you live on the Northshore or plan on spending the day in Mandeville make Sawasdee a rewarding stop. Total bill: $37.
New favorite restaurant. I just got finished eating Sawasdee for the first time and I am obsessed. My friend and I literally cannot stop talking about it and I want it to be the only thing I eat for the rest of my life. It’s THAT good. I got the house salad, glass noodle soup (so much flavor), and Pad See-Ew. Very high quality, not oily or greasy, decent price, quiet atmosphere, overall AMAZING.
