Great lunch dinner.. We have tried many of the po-boys on french bread and have found them to be excellent. All are filled with more meat than the bread can hold. The restaurant is a diner type experience which makes it a friendly place to eat. It is crowded at lunch time, but we have never had to wait for a table. Yes you have to place your order at the counter but the food is served to the table. The prices are higher than the average burger place but the serving size and quality of the food is worth it. The Triple 5 is a fun place to eat and the food is great!
Not too pleased to see four employees eating while working, one of the cooks was stuffing food in his mouth while flipping burgers! I asked to speak with the manager but no manager on site.
LOVE IT! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very kid friendly. If you are in the neighborhood this is the place to go!
Free Advice. When I ordered the Crab Cake Dinner , I only expected to receive 2 cakes but got 3 instead. That would have been a good thing had the cakes had more crab meat and less filling. Trust me on this one… drop the third one and spend the difference on more lump meat. People don’t mind spending good money on good food. Increase the price if need be. Also, serving coleslaw in the little plastic containers might help with portion control and food cost, but having the cooks use a scoop will not only look better but also cut your cost on containers.21 Jan, 2013Disappointed. First visit was today. It’s never a good thing when you can look thru a window into the kitchen area and see that the stainless steel hood and backsplash is covered in black, caked on grease. That generally gives you a good idea how unclean other areas that can’t be seen must be. The Triple Nickel Burger had a good taste but it would have been so much better if the bun had been toasted. The shoe string fries were over-cooked and hard. I dined outside and my food was delivered with no condiments or napkins. How was I to know that it was my job to get them? Speaking of outside… the walkway needs a good pressure washing and passing a broom occasionally wouldn’t hurt either. A friendlier, better trained staff would really help make the Triple Nickel Grill all it can and should be.
I got the goodfella or the godfather or whatever the meatball version of a hamburger is & it was deliciously awesome. I just wish it had a better atmosphere. The inside is boring, I hate going to the counter to order, and I wish the kitchen crew weren’t visible to the customers. Great food. The inside could use a wee bit of re-vamping.
Always pleased with everything at Triple Nickel Grill! Great food, very friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, and NEVER a disappointment! Would definitely recommend.
Always great. Triple Nickel never disappoints. The Biloxi Blue burger, sweet potato fries, club sandwiches and salads are great. Free reills on drinks. Maybe a tad pricey, but worth it for the most part. I keep returning. If you are playing at Pelican Park…this is the spot!!!
