I had work in the area and a local recommended this spot got lunch. The chicken looked really good but I was swayed by the lady at the counter to the lunch special- meatball stew.The meatball were really good – not to dense.The gravy was a tad bland for my tastes but I do like things spicy. The rice dressing was lacking sad to admit.All in all a worthy stop and next time will definitely try the fried chicken
Poor service/food. Ysterday 10/13/09 I got two fried chicken thighs. The chicken was cold and tasted old! Today, 10/14/09, I called in an order for chicken and rice and gravy. I requested dark meat. I didn’t check it before I left; first mistake. I got white meat which was dry and the rice was hard. My appetite is gone. Now I don’t even want to eat!
