WARNING!!!! Dental Damage due to shell in Oysters!. No, it wasn’t a pearl!I bit into a significant shard of shell while eating a fried oyster so hard that it hurt and found more pieces of shell in three of the six oysters I ate. I made a pile on my plate to show the waitress.When I told the waitress, she just apologized. I asked her to tell the manager but the manager never came to talk to me.I recently visited my dentist for my biannual cleaning and he told me (even though I did not tell him about the incident) that my molar (the same one traumatized by biting into the piece of shell) had a chipped filling and that I needed to have it replaced.I have a $60 co-pay!After sending two emails to the manager, I finally called him and he said he did feel it was his fault and that I should call Barnards, their supplier.
