This place is a gem! Fantastic food, great service, clean and lovely setting. They have the standard Greek fare, but much better quality than most, plus daily specials that are are exceptional.
This place is amazing. Eggplant bisque is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. 4 course special $19.95 can’t be beat. The service was fantastic.
Best Greek around!! The service it great and the food comes out fast! There is very few great restaurants in Metairie but this is one of the great ones!
Delish! Went here for a late Saturday lunch. We ordered the Gyro Wrap with grilled veggies and the hummus as an appetizer. The pita bread is served warm and it was great! The gyro was tasty and very filling. The veggies were perfectly seasoned. The service was great as well. Highly recommend this place!
Years ago, i ate here frequently because the food was excellent. I liked it so much that I tolerated the worst service and rudest managers/owners. The food is not good anymore, though, so I won’t go back.
American Greek/Taco Bell meets Athens. In response solely to some of the reviews I have read previously in regards to this mediocre at best establishment…Seasoned to Perfection: a common tongue phrase for heavily saturated fat coated(grease) and cardiac arrest levels of sodium in every bite.Service: Grumpy and/or forced our server worked off a script that was repeated to every customerSalads : Dressing with a splash of lettuce and a mound of cheeseFood: Abundant in quantity, lacking in any form of taste or substance. Whatever authenticity every dish started with must have been abandoned in formulation stage for an Americanized Menu that might sell in its market place.Desserts : microwavable, frozen, and or store bought. Straight up terrible…I don’t know why I would have to pay money to eat these…is the only purpose for their existence being to run up my bill???Parking: ample spaces available in a shady, trashy back of house parking areaAlcohol – Servers free pour meaning pick out your favorite top shelf liquor and watch as your server hopes their underwhelming table side presence and manners can be ignored as you purge them through liver abuse as they try to win your affections in the only way they seem fit.Bottom line: this is not a 91% restaurant…its not the best Mediterranean or Greek Stye Restaurant in the New Orleans or Metairie area and the people who claim it simply have not ventured far enough in any direction away from Veterans. You get compensated for cheap entrees with good portions of little substance. My only recommendation for this place is as stated the Liquor portions. Preflight here before heading somewhere better to eat.
Stay home and lick a salt dome.. Every bite of food was so overly salted. The baked chicken, gyro sandwich, soup and even the salad dressing. Seems to be true of the last review I read here too. Stay away if you are watching your salt intake as it will meet your allotment for the week. Better Mediterranean almost anywhere else in the city.
