I had an AMAZING experience. Dinning here was the highlight of my NOLA trip. I was treated like a princess and felt like a princess. Absolutely amazing food and service. The wine is also amazinghe visits his home in ltaly to make the wine himself. He introduced himself to every table and made us feel as if we were actually in Italy. I recommend that everyone visit’s Andrea’s!
Can’t cook fish. We’ve been there twice because my husband said give it another try. My dinner was overlooked and after what seemed like ages the replacement was no better.
Don’t go there!. We had a very bad experience today with a friends birthday lunch. Food was disgustingly bad and overpriced service was terrible. Chef Andrea is annoying. I had a fried oyster salad. They were burnt on one side. The bread was also burnt and my friends veal tasted freezer burnt. DO NoT waste your money or time. He advertises free limo from northshore to southshore for a party of 6 or more. Omg what a complete joke. Limo had a moldy body no ac/ windows stuck open in rear and driver had both his window open for air. Filthy inside, we had a hard time having a conversation due to the wind on the causeway. A BIG JOKE! You will be sorry if you fall for this scam. The best part is our limo driver who was more than 30 minutes late was also our waiter? Are you kidding me. All I can say don’t bother.
Not Happy. You would think a bad experience could not be repeated! Wrong; My wife and I went to Andrea’s as it was the only rest. open close to us on Christmas. The owner came up and introduced himself and proudly pointed to the waiter and said that was his son that was waiting on us. Turns out his service was terrible! My utensils were actually picked before I was served my meal! Food was cold when they brought it. THAT WAS LAST YEAR! This year, my wife was in a wheel chair and was bumped by a waiter, causing her to spill some food,,no excuse or anything. My Daughter was left sitting without her appetizer until we were half through with ours. The prime rib was served bloody for medium. The vegetables were terrible. We just didn’t think a restaurant could be that bad 2 years in a row. Service was awful. Will eat at Subway next year!
Kudos to the servers. My brother was married a couple of months ago, and we had the rehearsal dinner at Andrea’s. The happy couple gave a sweet note and a necklace to my mother, but in the midst of all the goodbyes at the end of the evening, we forgot to pick up the note and the gift from the table.When we got home and realized the gift was missing, my mother was beside herself with disappointment. We called Andrea’s and asked if anyone had seen the note and the necklace, but no one had; the tables had already been cleared. Our festive occasion had suddenly turned sad. Then– and here’s why I’m writing this review– the servers went and dug through all of the evening’s trash until they found my mom’s present. We are so grateful. Thank you, Andrea’s!
We love this restaurant . The food is great. The chef is accommodating. The Friday night music is some of the best around.
Very disappointed. This restaurant use to be good years ago but has been coasting on its reputation for years. Wish I would have looked at Urbanapoon before going. Food was just ok. Waiters were very snobby. It was as if they felt like they were too good to wait on our table. Impastatos is much better. Don’t waste your money.
